There has been a surge in attention, training and practice in the area of stress-related-trauma largely due to Covid. While the mental health industry have been researching and advancing stress-related study for some time, the wider public is quite new to the concept.
I often think to myself that Trauma-Informed is really Mind-Body. And for those of us who have always prioritised and preferred the cerebral approach, this field of study offers good reason to reconsider that approach.
