🌟 The Cumulative Effects of Stress? Imprints Trauma, Makes Life Heavy 🌟 Overwhelm & Anxiety, from ongoing exposure to stress, is as physiological 💪 🧠 👁 as it is psychological. 👉 #TraumaInformed is an excellent sign post to anchor your own research if you're looking for how to repair and recover from it. 💯 🎊 🙌
✴ People with #dysregulated nervous systems don't get the benefit from things like: #GrowthMindset, #TalkTherapy, #SelfDevelopment Books, like people with self-regulating nervous systems do. So "mind over matter" and "just get on with it" is about as helpful as a mirror covered in paint.
✴ Ongoing exposure to stress tends to leave individuals saying some version of: "I know what I am supposed to do, but I just can't do it!" ...for decades. 🙄
✴ This infographic looks at how the cumulation of stress imprints the brain-body with trauma, (dysregulating nervous systems that are easily locked into states of anxiety, depression causing all sorts of physical disorder) and leads to a heavy life, as a result. You can download it as a hi-res PDF.
